Obituary of James Henry Bartley

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Jim on March 14, 2009, with his wife Eileen and goddaughter Terri by his side. He was proud of his forty years with Monarch, Revelstoke and West Fraser. He won manager of the year seven of nine years. His greater joy in life was spending time with the children of numerous friends. He always had something in his pocket for them. A young friend said, ‘I look to the sky and know that he is there, looking over you, and the rest of us who were a part of his life’. He will be sadly missed by his wife Eileen; his brother Don (Marilyn) and family; and sister-in-law, Joan and family. He was predeceased by his parents, his sister Marilyn and his brother Ken. A Memorial Service will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Fish Creek Chapel (14441 Bannister Road S.E.) on Saturday, March 21, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
