Dear Jurene,

I am so sorry to learn that Gord had passed away in March of 2009. I was thinking of Gord, wondering how he was doing and searched his call sign on the amateur radio link, hoping to link up with him. When I saw that it was no longer assigned, I did a google search of his name and found this site.

I am truly saddened that his cheerful smile, kindness and friendship are no longer with us.

I remember the many times we spoke on the radio and got together for a visit. I always enjoyed his wit and friendship, I considered him a good friend.

I hope this message reaches you, even while much time has passed since March of 2009, I shall remember Gord with a smile and love.
