Obituary of Ben Hanen

Ben Hanen, beloved husband of Molly of Calgary, passed away at the Rockyview General Hospital on March 15, 2009 at the age of 93 years. Ben graduated from the University of California at Berkley. He played hockey in college and semi professionally. He served overseas in the Airforce for five years, during the Second World War. He was also a life long member of the House of Jacob. Besides his loving wife Molly, Ben is survived by his children, Jerry, Basheh, Beryl, and Pamela, all of Calgary, and Allen of Moscow Russia; as well as two sons-in-law, Eldon and Howard; and five grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held at the Jewish Memorial Chapel, (North East Corner of Highway 22X & 37th Street S.W.,) on Tuesday, March 17, 2009 at 2:30 p.m. Graveside Service to follow at the 37th Street Cemetery (North East Corner of Highway 22X and 37th Street S.W.)
