Obituary of James Postlethwaite

James (Jim) Postlethwaite of Cochrane passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 7, 2009 at the age of 85 years. Jim was born in Bottrel on January 10, 1924. He made his living as a carpenter at the Jumping Pound Gas Plant in Cochrane. Jim leaves to mourn his granddaughter Dallas Hofer; sisters Ethel (Raymond) Amidon and Dorothy Patterson; and his brother Sid (Jean) Postlethwaite; sister-in-law Rita Postlethwaite and many nieces, nephews and extended relatives. Jim was predeceased by his wife Barbara (nee Patterson), daughter Sandra Hofer, father Abraham, mother Sarah (nee Stephenson), brothers and sisters, William (Marjorie) Postlethwaite, Alice McNicol, Edith (John) Sutherland, Mary (Kelly) Reeves, Ike, Emily Postlethwaite, John Postlethwaite and brother-in-law James Patterson.
