Obituary of John Pamer
John Pamer beloved husband of Cathleen (McCusker) of Calgary passed away on March 8, 2009. John was raised in California, USA. He belonged to the American Music Association and Alberta Music Union. Prior to coming to Calgary John toured extensively throughout the United States. Coming to Calgary, he continued his music profession in Latin
percussion. John played with different groups and other different venues throughout Alberta. While playing at the Four Seasons he met Cathy his wife to be. Through the years he introduced music to many young children with his performing in the Calgary schools. Upon retirement he took his love of the arts and involved himself in painting. Besides his loving wife Cathleen Pamer he is survived by sister, Joy Patterson of California; many brother-in laws, sister-in laws and numerous, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews in both Canada and the Unites States. He was predeceased by his sister, Phyllis Flanagan of California. Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers and Tributes at Corpus Christi Catholic Church (Corner of 4th Street and Northmount Drive N.W.) on Thursday, March 12, 2009 at 5:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Corpus Christi Catholic Church (Corner of 4th Street and Northmount Drive N.W.) on Friday, March 13, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
