Obituary of Wilmer Allan Chisholm

Wilmer (Bill) Allan Chisholm beloved husband of Janet Chisholm of Calgary passed away on March 1, 2009 at the age of 82 years. Bill was born May 16, 1926 in Naco, AB. After leaving the farm, Bill came to Calgary and was employed by Firestone Tire Manufacturing plant and the Calgary Board of Education. Besides his loving wife of fifty years, Bill is survived by his daughters Cathy (Paul) Schroeder and their sons, Eric and Joe all of Winnipeg, MB and JoAnne (Rob) Imeson of Windermere, BC; his son Jim (Sheila) and their daughters Madison and Kennedy all of Calgary. He is also survived by a sister-in-law Dorothy Chisholm of Medicine Hat, AB. Bill was predeceased by his parents, Ken and Margaret Chisholm; a sister Grace (Ron) Wells; four brothers, Gordon (Dorothy), Don, Leslie and John (Lynn). The family wishes to thank Home Care, the staff of the Day Care Unit at the Tom Baker Cancer Centre especially Dr. Blahey, Gail and Belinda. Thanks also to the staff in Day Med and Unit 36 of the S.S.B. and the Agapé Hospice for their compassionate care.
