Obituary of Margaret Duthie Matonovich

Margaret Matonovich beloved wife of Mike of Calgary, passed away on Monday, March 2, 2009 at the age of 74 years, following a long courageous battle with cancer. We will forever cherish the memory of our wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend as a woman with an abundance of spirit, courage, warmth, generosity and humour. Besides her loving husband of forty-two years Mike, Margaret is also survived by her children, Steven (Mary) of Conroe Texas, Gail (Lynn) of Calgary, Mike Jr. (Brandy) of Vancouver, and Jamie (Tammy) of Calgary; eight grandchildren, Tanis (Joseph), Ryan, Terese (Sohel), Skye (Jeff), Zachary, Denyn, Corey, and Ty; sister and brother-in-law Florence and Dick Piket of Edmonton; as well as by many other extended family members and dear friends. A Celebration of Margaret’s Life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Fish Creek Chapel (14441 Bannister Road S.E.) on Saturday, March 7, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
