Obituary of Betty May Buta

Betty passed away peacefully surrounded by her family, at the age of 82, after a long struggle with her heart condition. She is survived by her husband of sixty-two years, Aurel, son, Dwayne Buta of Calgary, granddaughter, Jania (Chris) Craddock, grandson, Travis Teare (both of Edmonton), son-in-law, Tony (Jennifer) Teare of Canmore, sister, Avis Hunt of Lethbridge, and sister, Alice McClure, of White Rock. She was predeceased by her daughter, Terrie, in 2004, her parents and four sisters. The family wishes to extend thanks to all the staff of Units 94 ICU and 91 of the Foothills Hospital who gave Betty the best possible and compassionate care. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W.) on Tuesday, March 3, 2009 at 2:30 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
