Obituary of Audri Thomson

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Audri Thomson, who passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Wednesday, February 18, 2009. She was born in Montreal, Quebec on March 11, 1941, daughter to George and Agnes Grimsdale. Audri was a beloved mother to Heather (Ian), Scott (Diane) and Julie. “GramAud” to Max. Treasured sister to Maureen, Gail, Gary (Jane) and Susie (Peter). Favourite aunt to Peter (Jackie), Brenda (Darrell), Tracey (Kevin), Wendy (Bruce), Gary (Erica), Jeffrey (Coralie), Robin-Lynne (Richard), Shannan (Cory), Chris (Kyla), Mitchell and Ryan. Audri was a positive light that touched many lives. She was admired and loved by friends and colleagues, and cherished by her family. In her younger years, Audri was a champion synchronized swimmer and diver and later became a coach. She had an adventurous, entrepreneurial spirit and never shied away from adversity. She loved to travel, especially on cruises and to Las Vegas. She had a flair all her own, a sparkle and was grace under pressure. She will be dearly missed.
