Obituary of Pierrette Charlotte Gillund

Pierrette Charlotte Gillund of Calgary passed away on Sunday, February 15, 2009 at the age of 66 years. Pierrette and Garrie lived and raised their family in Calgary. As a loving homemaker she also found time to become an accomplished painting teacher. In later years her interests turned to quiltmaking and gardening. As a generous philanthropist many charities benefited from her compassion for others. Pierrette is survived by three sons and a daughter, Bradley and Joanne Gillund, Kevin and Dawn Gillund, Martin and Mihaela Gillund, and Janna and Glenn Wilkinson, six grandchildren, Jenna, Jamie, Gabriel, Travis, Cody, and Jessie. She was predeceased by her husband, Garrie Gillund in 1997.
