Obituary of Corinne Beglinger

Corinne Henrietta Beglinger, beloved wife of William “Bill” Beglinger of Calgary, passed away on Thursday, February 12, 2009 at the age of 76 years, at the Rockyview Hospital after a battle with cancer. Corinne was born in Rotterdam, Holland in 1932. She came to Canada in 1958, with her husband William Theodore Beglinger. They started off living in Winnipeg and later lived in different cities in Canada, settling in Calgary in 1969. Corinne worked as a realtor for fifteen years with CIR Realtors before retirement. She enjoyed traveling with Bill to Mexico and Hawaii to enjoy the sun, and to Holland to visit friends and relatives. She loved the game of hockey and never missed a game on TV and could always be seen in the stands cheering on her grandsons; Myles, Matthew and Mackenzie. She cared about everyone and was very generous. She will be missed very much…we will miss you Corinne, Mom, Oma. Corinne is survived by her loving husband, Bill. Son, Terry (Veena) Beglinger of Napa, California her daughter, Cathy (Gary) Rivoire of Calgary; her brother, Peter (Sharon) Spierenburg of Surrey, BC; and grandchildren; Quade and Dawson Beglinger; Myles, Matthew and Mackenzie Rivoire. Corinne is predeceased by her sister, Riet Zylstra.
