Obituary of Donald T.M. Gardner

Donald (Don) Thomas Maine Gardner passed away on Tuesday, January 27, 2009 at the age of 80 years. Don was born in Winnipeg, MB on July 6, 1928. He joined the military in July 1946 and was discharged in October 1990. Don married Simone deKeruzec on July 14, 1952. He was a life long military man – his career spanning five decades. Don received his commission in 1965. He loved reading, crosswords, music, and especially sports. Don is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Dr. Sandy Gardner of Nanaimo, BC, Robb and Patricia Gardner of Calgary; a daughter and son-in-law Dawn and Jamie Hill; and seven grandchildren, Jasmine, Alex, Robyn, Sophia, Angela, Mark, and Rachael. He is also survived by two brothers, Jack and Jim. Don was predeceased by his wife Simone; and two brothers, Fred and Shorty. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
