Obituary of Enrichetta Civitarese

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Enrichetta Civitarese, on Wednesday, January 28, 2009. She was born on February 5, 1914 in Miglianico (Chieti) Abruzzo, Italy. Left behind to mourn are her four children, Filomena (Romano) De Iure, Aldo Civitarese, Yolanda (Luciano) Saraceni, and Luciana (Benito) Colonna; nine grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; a sister Rosalinda Marcucci of Calgary; a brother-in-law Tommaso (Gilda) Civitarese; numerous nieces and nephews in Alberta, British Columbia, Ontario, and Italy. She was predeceased by her husband Domenico in September 2, 2006. A life of faithful service is at long last rewarded for the promise of paradise. Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers and Tributes at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Monday, February 2, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Corpus Christi Catholic Church (Corner of 4th Street and Northmount Drive N.W.) on Tuesday, February 3, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. Graveside Service to follow at Queens Park Cemetery.
