Obituary of B.Sc, M.Sc., P. Geol.

Gale, beloved husband of 49 years to Joan has played his last tennis at CWC. He will live on through his son Dan (Pat); daughter Kathy (Ferdie); grandsons Greg, Trevor and Brian and twin granddaughters Erika and Nicole. He will also be missed by sisters Vivian Oakes, Hazel Williamson and Doris Carle; brother Vern; Joan’s brother Jim (Marlene) Ferguson; many nephews and nieces as well as friends and former colleagues at Amoco, Dome Petroleum, GSC and Petro-Canada. After defeating prostate cancer diagnosed in 2003, his nemesis was pancreatic cancer diagnosed one year ago. Sincere thanks to the incredible Palliative Home Care Response Team who enabled Gale to remain at home.
