Obituary of Betty Florence Davison

It is with great love and sadness that we announce the passing of our mom on Tuesday, January 27, 2009, from a courageous battle with lung cancer at the age of 75 years. She is survived by her daughters, Pat (Steve) Harvey and Darcy (Kevin) Kline; son Jeff Anderson; grandchildren, Travis, Shayden, and Calby Anderson, Eric and Devin Kline and Laura Harvey; as well as her siblings, Dot Cowan, Inez McKenzie, Margaret Waite, Dale (Dot) Roper, Ken (Ernie) Roper, Gerry Tullis and Marion Roper. She was predeceased by Roy (Clara) Roper, Jack Cowan, Stan McKenzie, Bill Waite, Jack Roper, and husbands, Harvey Anderson and Bruce Davison. Betty handled her battle with great dignity and strength. With her social and open heart, Betty touched many people in the communities that she lived in, the latest being in High River. She naturally and effortlessly brought people together with her great sense of humor and fun loving nature. She was a constant inspiration to the many clubs and social activities that she founded, or was a member of.
