Obituary of Gertrude Julianna CAMPBELL

Trudy Campbell of Calgary passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, January 17, 2009 at the age of 66 years. Trudy was born in LaFleche, SK and obtained her Bsc in Nursing from the University of Saskatchewan in 1964. After raising her family she happily returned to nursing working at both the Bow Valley Centre and Peter Lougheed Centre in the area of psychiatry and forensic psychiatry. She most recently worked at (S.A.F.P.S.) Southern Alberta Forensic Psychiatry Services where she took great pride in being a preceptor to nursing students. Trudy enjoyed spending time with family, friends and especially her granddaughter Maggs. She is survived by three daughters, Kelley and her husband John Hodson, Kristy and her husband Brian Chisholm, and Kathy Campbell and her fiancé Harvey Ruffer; and her beloved granddaughter Maggie Hodson. Trudy is also survived by two brothers and sisters-in-law, Leon and Annabelle Hartman and Gerhardt and Patricia Hartman; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Marlene and Charles Tait and Theresa and Gerry Seidle; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Margaret Hartman and her cherished life-long friend Marilyn McArthur.
