Obituary of Kenneth Charles Wood

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Ken Wood on January 15, 2009 at the age of 74 years. Ken was born in Ethelton, Saskatchewan, where he spent his early years before moving to Calgary in his teens, where he attended Western Canada High School. Ken was employed for numerous years as a draftsman with Canada Cities Service before taking early retirement. His love for the mountains took him to Seebe where he ran the General Store. With the mountains in his backyard Ken was able to continue with his passion of painting pictures and wildlife scenes. Ken is survived by his sister Joyce Kaughman; nieces Sheila Peters (Steve); Brenda Kaughman; nephews Brad Kaughman (Peggy); Ron Kaughman (Tracy) and many great nieces and nephews. Ken was predeceased by his parents Olive and Hank Wood.
