Obituary of Rebecca Amelia Wilby

Rebecca Wilby, beloved mother of Gordon and Amanda passed away on Saturday, January 17, 2009 at the age of 61 years. Rebecca was born in the Philippines, and came to Canada in1981. She married Bruce Wilby in 1987. Rebecca was a devoted parishioner with St. Michael The Archangel Catholic Church. Rebecca is survived by children, Gordon (Jackie Huculak) and Amanda; her stepchildren, Phoenix Deerhawke and Stephanie Wilby. She is also survived by her father Pantaleon Boncato; sisters, Elvira Boncato, Connie DeMesa, and Marissa (Oscar) Miana; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Rebecca was predeceased by her mother Maria Paz and brothers-in-law Napoleon Duyan and Melchor DeMesa. Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers and Tributes at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church (4718 Worcester Drive S.W.) on Tuesday, January 20, 2009 at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church (4718 Worcester Drive S.W.) on Wednesday, January 21, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. Graveside Service to follow at Eden Brook Memorial Gardens.
