Obituary of Teresa Moka

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Teresa Elizabeth Moka, of Calgary, on Monday, January 19, 2009 at the age of 83 years. Teresa was born in Ontario and moved to Calgary to work in the oil and gas industry. She was employed with Dome Petroleum for many years. Teresa loved to have a good laugh and was always passing on the latest joke. Teresa loved to go the Carriage House Inn with family and Zellers where she enjoyed meeting with friends over coffee. Teresa had a deep respect for and faith in God. Teresa leaves behind her daughter Mary Ann and her husband Dennis Gaehring; four grandchildren, Megan, Rachel, Ryan and Jennifer; and her beloved sister Helen and her husband Frank O’Leary. Teresa was predeceased by her husband Raymond Moka; two brothers, Philip and Bill Manion; and two sisters, Catherine Haines and Mary Pat Mason. Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers and Tributes at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W.) on Wednesday, January 21, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. James’ Catholic Church (5504 – 20th Street S.W.) on Thursday, January 22, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. Graveside Service to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
