Obituary of Charlotte Bilgeri

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Charlotte Bilgeri after a brief illness on Wednesday, January 7, 2009 at the age of 84 years. Charlotte was born in Stolpmuende, Germany. An only child, she was raised and educated there, and in her early twenties moved to Stuttgart, until she immigrated to Edmonton, AB in 1954. In 1980 Charlotte obtained the certification as a travel agent establishing her own travel agency in Calgary, remaining in that profession until her retirement. She was an accomplished travel agent and with love and dedication looked after a multitude of clients, and thus, many became personal friends. She loved her cats, travel, and the Rocky Mountains especially the Kananaskis region. She will be missed by all who knew her. Charlotte leaves behind members of Herbert’s family in Austria; stepsister Ilse; cousin Hannie; niece Waltraut; and many, many friends, especially Ernie Korcuska. Charlotte was predeceased by her husband Herbert 1995.
