Obituary of Rosa Sirianni

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Rosa Sirianni of Calgary, passed away on Saturday, January 10, 2009 at the age of 70 years. Rosa was born in Lamezia Terme, Provincia di Catanzaro, Italy on July 8, 1938. She immigrated to Canada with her family in 1967. She was very devoted to her religious and spiritual life. She was also very dedicated to her family. She was a loving daughter, sister, aunt and great aunt. She leaves behind her mother, Elisabetta; sisters, Felicia (Salvatore) Raso, Pina (Enrico) Elia; brothers, Bruno (Franca) Sirianni and Sam (Dora) Sirianni. Also, sadly saying goodbye, are nephews and nieces; Peter, Rosa, Tina, Lisa, Antonia, Domenico, Rosa, Franco, Rino, Felicia, Daniela and Diana, and all of their families. Rosa was pre-deceased by her brother Francesco and her father Domenico. Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers and Tributes at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Wednesday, January 14, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Ascension Catholic Church (1100 Berkshire Boulevard N.W.) on Thursday, January 15, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. Graveside Service to follow in St. Joseph’s Section at Queen’s Park Cemetery.
