Obituary of Marcel Romeo Boutet

Marcel Romeo Boutet of Calgary passed away on Wednesday, January 7, 2009 at the age of 92 years. He was born on September 4, 1916 in Ste Thecle, Quebec. Marcel was a meticulous finishing carpenter for New West homes for many years. He played a big part in the development of Park Beauchme where he spent many years “deck building” for family and friends. He loved the outdoors and was an active man. Marcel had a huge heart and a contagious smile that would light up a room. Marcel will be deeply missed and forever remembered by his loving family, his son Roland (Susan); daughter-in-law Gloria; grandchildren, Teresa (Blair), Kurtis (Sheila), Raymond, and Jeanine; and his four great grandsons. Marcel was predeceased by his wife Rose of fifty-seven years and his youngest son Claude. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Wednesday, January 14, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. Graveside Service to follow at Queen’s Park Cemetery.
