Obituary of Dorothy Beatrice Mikkelson

Dorothy Beatrice Mikkelson passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 8, 2009 at the age of 74 years. Dorothy will be lovingly remembered by her son Darren (Annette); and daughter Lisa (Geoff); as well as her six grandchildren. Dorothy was born in Thunder Bay, ON on November 17, 1934. She moved to Calgary and married Carl Mikkelson in January of 1961. Dorothy was known for her sewing, famous apple pies and love of games. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Tuesday, January 13, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. Graveside Service to follow at Queen’s Park Cemetery.
