Obituary of John Roy Beckwith

John Roy Beckwith, beloved husband of Judy of Calgary, passed away on Friday, December 26, 2008 at the age of 61 years. Born in Winnipeg, John moved to Calgary with his family as a young child and remained there until his passing. He spent the majority of his life working in the printing industry. John most enjoyed spending his spare time either on his front step or around a roaring fire with those closest to him and was always willing to lend a hand to help out his friends. Besides his loving wife Judy, John is also survived by his daughter Dawn Marie; his sister Marie Heikkila (Vic and Ashley); numerous in-laws, nieces and nephews, as well as his close friends, neighbours and co-workers. John was predeceased by his parents Emma and Thomas Beckwith and in-laws Dave and Ruby Penner.
