Obituary of Gertrude Marie Caisse

Gertrude (Trudy) Caisse, Crown Prosecutor with Alberta Justice, passed away peacefully at the Chinook Hospice on Wednesday, December 31, 2008 at the age of 45 years after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Trudy was a warm-hearted person who lived and loved life to the fullest. She had many wonderful and caring friends who were especially supportive of her during the past year. Trudy is survived by her loving husband Robert (Bob) Desaulniers; daughter Madelaine; sister Glenda and brother-in-law Aidan of St. John’s, NL; niece Kandace of Calgary; and special cousin Donald Bennett. She will also be fondly remembered by her relatives in Newfoundland and the United States. Trudy was predeceased by her parents, Irene Caisse and Walter Riteff; and by her brother Robert. A Celebration of Trudy’s Life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W.) on Tuesday, January 6, 2009 at 2:30 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
