Obituary of Lorna Joan Tompkins

Lorna Joan Tompkins, beloved wife of Larry Tompkins of Calgary, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 27, 2008 at the age of 68 years. Besides her loving husband and companion of fifty years, Lorna is survived by two brothers, Jerry and Lloyd; and her sister, Susan, and their families. She also leaves behind many friends but especially Katie MacLean (5 years) and Adam Buote (11 years), both whom Lorna cherished from birth. Lorna was predeceased by her son, Lyle James (24 days old) and her daughter, Lorrie Lynn (18 years old). Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W.) on Monday, January 5, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. A family graveside service will be held at Queen’s Park Cemetery at a later date.
