Obituary of Iris Mary Evelyn Campbell

Iris Campbell of Calgary passed away on Tuesday, December 23, 2008 at the age of 85 years. Iris was born and raised in Treherne, MB. She moved to Winnipeg where she met and married her husband Bart and started her career with The Bay. In 1971 they moved to Calgary where she continued her career with The Bay, retiring in the early 80’s. After retiring Iris enjoyed many winters in Florida. Iris will be remembered for her beautiful needle point pictures, paintings and knitting toques for premature babies at the hospitals. Iris is survived by her sister Lois MacLeod; brother, Glenn Smith (Janice) and numerous nieces and nephews. Iris was predeceased by husband Bart Campbell in 1981. A Memorial Service will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Tuesday, January 6, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. Graveside Service to follow at Queen’s Park Cemetery.
