Obituary of Lenard Schnell

It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Lenard (Len) Schnell, on Monday, December 22, 2008. Left to treasure his memory are his wife Sheila; Len’s daughter Nona (Darren); sister Cheryl (Howard); Sheila’s children Jeff (Corrine), Jocelyn (Dan) and six treasured grandchildren, Caveena, Avery, Renee, Miller, Joel and Amy. Len was predeceased by his parents Vy and Earl Schnell; sister Bev; his adopted son Travis as well as Sheila’s parents Stan and Mabel Slow. Born in Rockglen, SK, Len began his young life with a career in banking. Most recently, he completed his Condominium Management Certification and was a valued employee at Westcorp Properties Inc. A devoted life member and active volunteer with the Stampede City Kinsmen; Len was the current President of the K-40 Club. Len served on several boards of directors including ARBI. World travels, gathering with friends and family over the years brought Len great joy. He was happiest when surrounded with the hugs and kisses from his six grandchildren whom he cherished dearly.
