Obituary of Libby Shenfield

Libby Shenfield, beloved wife of the late Bernard (Bert) Harrison and the late Jack Shenfield, passed away on Thursday, December 18, 2008 at the age of 93 years. Libby is survived by her daughter Shana Zimmer of Calgary, her son Steven Harrison of Montreal; daughter-in-law Myrna Harrison of Montreal; grandchilren Robert, Philip and Neil Harrison, Berton Starke, Barry, Cheryl (Paul Sauve) and William Zimmer; great-grandchildren, Robyn and Mara Starke and Lily Ana Zimmer; and her sister-in-law Sara Belson. She was predeceased by her grandsons Lewis and Burton Harrison, her brothers John, William, and Julius and sisters Fanny Kaufman (Ruby), Barbara Green (Adolph), Rae (Philip Stattner) (Al Corber). She will be sadly missed by all of her family and friends. Funeral Services will be held at the Temple B’nai Tikvah (900 47th Avenue S.W.) on Monday, December 22, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made directly to Carewest Signal Pointe (6363 Simcoe Road SW, Calgary, AB T3H 4M3) or to the Alzheimer Society of Calgary (201 – 222 58th Avenue SW, Calgary, AB T3H 2S3).
