Today is December 26, 2014, the day I learned of Gary’s passing. I am saddened to learn of this because I held Gary in high esteem, knowing him professionally – we toiled in adjacent offices for a number of years – having evaluated him so closely to the descriptive in the obituary above.
Where a cool head was required it was on the shoulders of Gary, whose insights into the matters of process and system control were second to none, these two but a few of his admirable qualities.
My sympathy, Ruth, upon receiving this knowledge today, saddened as both Doris and I are.
