Obituary of Violet Alice Mayer

Alice Mayer of Calgary passed away on December 16, 2008 at the age of 81 years. She trained in accounting at Yorkton Collegiate, and worked several years at Windsor, Ontario, then came to Alberta to work at radio stations in Edmonton, Lloydminster, and Drumheller. Alice is survived by her husband Anthony of Vancouver; daughter Shari (David) Nerdahl of Toronto; and son Jack of Calgary; brothers Allan (Lylah), Harold (Elaine) of Yorkton; sister Edna Bohn of Ebenezer; and thirty nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by parents, Emma (nee Zichau) and Edwin Patzer; two sisters at infancy; sister Olga Fandrey; and brothers Lawrence, Arnold, Eric, and Wilfred Patzer. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Eastside Memorial Chapel (5388 Memorial Drive N.E.) on Friday, December 19, 2008 at 1:30 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
