Martha Snyders-Blok (Oma as she was known to many) passed away peacefully in Calgary on December 12, 2008 at the age of 70 years after a courageous battle with cancer. Many would know of her through the cards that she hand made and sold to raise funds for the Cancer Society. Oma you will be missed, please watch over us. Martha is lovingly remembered by her 5 children, Jeroen (Terry), Benita, Tina (Mike), John (Patti), and Richard (Kathrin) and 10 grandchildren as well as 3 brothers and 6 sisters and numerous nieces and nephews. Martha has now rejoined her husband Joseph (Opa) in Heaven. A Memorial Service will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W.) on Thursday, December 18, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
