Obituary of Margaret Eugenia Pleskie

Margaret Eugenia Pleskie of Calgary passed away on Friday, December 12, 2008 at the age of 72 years. Margaret worked for the Bank of Montreal for thirty-one years and volunteered with the Calgary Catholic Immigration Society, as well as the Leighton Foundation. She lent a helping hand anywhere she could, and was happiest when busy helping people, or having her family and friends come to visit. She is survived by three sons and two daughters-in-law, Peter and Laura Pleskie of Medicine Hat, AB, Edward Pleskie, and Allan Pleskie and Heather Pusch all of Calgary; as well as two grandchildren, Spencer Pleskie and Nicole Carlone. Margaret is also survived by a brother and sister-in-law Ted and Marjorie Rumpf, a sister Eveyln Balsdon, all of Edmonton, AB; and a sister-in-law Hazel Rumpf of Bassano, AB. She was predeceased by her father Edward Rumpf, her mother Mildred Rumpf (nee Hunter) and brother Lyle Rumpf.
