Obituary of Francis Hubbard

Francis Hubbard of Didsbury, AB passed away on Thursday, December 11, 2008 at the age of 81 years. Francis was born on November 10, 1927 in Surrey, England. He served with the Royal Navy for twenty two years. In 1969 Francis and Agnes immigrated to Canada, settling in Calgary. Francis worked twenty-five years for Sears Canada as a Service Technician retiring in 1994. In 1979 their family moved to Airdrie and in 1998 Francis and Agnes retired in Didsbury. Francis is survived by his two sons and daughters-in-law, Rhod and Cindy, and Ken and Wendy; grandson Justin; and sister Grace Appleyard. Francis was predeceased by his wife Agnes in 2004; sister Vera in 1996; and parents May and Francis.
