Obituary of Roslin Ramsey

Roslin Ramsey of Calgary passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 29, 2008 at the age of 86 years. Roslin was born on March 22, 1922 in Vegreville, AB the eldest daughter of the late George and Maria Fliczuk. After completing College in 1940 she developed a career in accounting and auditing. In 1967 she achieved her designation as a Charter Accountant and then worked from 1969 until her retirement in 1985 from Revenue Canada. Over the years Roslin did volunteer work for Calgary Winter Festival, Calgary Handi-Bus Association as director as well as both provincial and federal Conservative Parties. At the time of her death she was still actively volunteering with the Kabalarian Philosophy (Society of Kabalarians) as a Calgary Centre Representative and Treasurer of its executive committee. Roslin was a vibrant person who brought much interest into life around her. Her straight forward, no nonsense, practical approach to life along with her happy, optimistic expression, fun sense of humour, and ready laugh were greatly appreciated and valued by her family and her wide circle of friends. Roslin will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Roslin is survived by two daughters, Lorea and Dorothy; sister Anna (Walter); brother James; and sister-in-law Marge. She was predeceased by her husband Croft and her brother Bill. At Roslin’s request there will be no Funeral Service. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
