Obituary of Valentino William Walter Barron

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Val, our husband, father and grandfather on Sunday, December 7, 2008 at the age of 80 years. Val had a life long love of trucks, and after a short time with the C.P.R., he ran his own company, Barron Transport – for the rest of his life. Val is survived by his wife Joan; sons and daughters-in-law, Doug and Shirley Barron, and Brad and Wiesha Barron; daughters and son-in-law; Kathy Barron and Henry Krzyzewski, and Kellie Barron; grandsons Steven and Garrett, all of Calgary; and his brother John of Edmonton. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church (5340 – 4th Street S.W.) on Thursday, December 11, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
