Obituary of Marissa Digaoan

Marissa Digaoan, beloved wife of Solomon Digaoan of Calgary passed away on Saturday, December 6, 2008 at the age of 51 years. Marissa was born October 14, 1957 in Balungao, Pangasinan, Philippines. She came to Calgary with her family in August 1995 as an immigrant. Marissa loved to be with her family and friends and enjoyed cooking and entertaining. She was a very devoted member of her church and would always lend a helping hand to others, she especially loved to cook for various church functions. Marissa worked for many years alongside her husband, developing their own cleaning business. She was instrumental in the success of their business and will be dearly missed as a great working partner. Above all, her family and God were of utmost importance to her. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother ,grandmother and friend. Marissa is survived by her loving husband Solomon, son Jeroboam Digaoan, daughters; Marisol (Leonard) Ben, Maria Solomon and Marie Digaoan, grandson Zion Isaiah Ben, her mother Bonifacia Tejada, brothers; Domingo Jr., Herman and Al Tejada, sisters; Agnes Yoshida and Grace Elises, as well as numerous nieces ,nephews, extended family members and sisters and brothers of Jesus Is Lord Church. She was predeceased by her father, Domingo Tejada Sr. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Wednesday, December 10 and Friday, December 12, 2008 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Saturday, December 13, 2008 at 12:30 p.m. Graveside Service to follow at Mountainview Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
