Obituary of Roger Allan Harvey

Roger Harvey, beloved husband of Irene Harvey (nee McNeilly) of Calgary, passed away on Tuesday, December 2, 2008 at the age of 80 years. Roger was the youngest of four children of Clela and David Harvey. He grew up in Fosston, SK and moved to Calgary in 1957. Roger worked as a custodian for the Calgary Board of Education for twenty-nine years. Following his retirement in 1989, Roger enjoyed camping throughout Alberta, walking his dogs and puttering in his shop. He also enjoyed visiting with his nephews, Todd Allen and Tom Reay. Roger will be sadly missed by those who knew and loved him. Besides his loving wife of fifty-three years, Roger is survived by two sons, Lorne Harvey and Larry Harvey; daughter Lynda Loades; two granddaughters, Laura Harvey and Catherine Loades; as well as a sister Norma Maidens of London, ON. Roger was predeceased by his brother Bud Harvey and sister Frances Allen.
