Obituary of Karen Woolliams

In loving memory of Karen Woolliams of Airdrie who passed away peacefully on December 3, 2008 at the age of 93 years, after a full and happy life enjoying family and friends.. Karen’s last few years were spent in the AirdrieBethany Lodge, where she made many new friends. The family is very appreciative of the staff who provided such loving care during her stay. She was truly an inspiration to everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. Karen is survived by her daughter, Alberta Watt of Tofield, AB; son, Bob (Flora) of Didsbury, AB; grand-daughters, Bonnie (Larry) Malcolm of Edmonton, AB, Lynda (Dean) Kope, Christy (Barry) Rude both of Tofield, AB, Diane (Kevin) Arbuckle of Didsbury, AB and Donna (Trevor) Thompson of Calgary; great-grandchildren, Deanne (Chris) Ferguson, Jared Kope, Morgan, Lana and Corrine Rude, Will and Kaitlyn Thompson and special great, great-grandson Jack. She will also be remembered as Grandma Karen to Laurel Lamarche and family; Randy Erickson and the Duhn family, as well as numerous nieces and nephews in Denmark and England. Karen was predeceased by her husband Jack in 1973, sons-in-law, David Watt and Bjarne Erickson.
