Obituary of Gerald Ellis Gale

Gerry Gale beloved husband of Elaine of Calgary, passed away on December 1, 2008 at the age of 81 years. A native Calgarian, Gerry married Elaine Taverna on July 5, 1952. Together they raised their family here in Calgary and over the years enjoyed numerous vacations, in particular, Hawaii and Fairmont B.C. Gerry worked as a realtor and later with the provincial government. He was a loving husband, parent and grandparent who cherished his family. We will miss him dearly… Gerry is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Elaine , his daughter and son-in-law Linda and Ron Butchart, son and daughter-in-law Larry and Rosanne Gale; grandchildren, Brianna, Lauren and Brody Butchart and Jarrod and Jordan Gale; sisters Iris Souter, Doris (Grant) Alger; brothers Don (Eva) and Bob (Val) Gale; sister-in-law Rose Coates and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son Kenneth Gale; grandson Connor Gale, and his parents Marie and Ellis Gale.
