Obituary of John Arthur Hill

John Arthur Hill beloved husband of Shirley of Calgary, passed away suddenly on Friday, November 21, 2008 at the age of 77 years. John was born in Pointe Anne, ON. He was a long time member of the IUOE # 955 Union as well as a long time member of the Royal Canadian Legion # 264. He had a long, distinguished career in the Army for 25 years, then retiring and furthering his career in welding, where he became very well known. The things that meant the most to John were his wife, children, and grandchildren. No one will forget the love he had for all of his animals and his utmost love and passion for fishing. John is survived by his wife Shirley; daughters and son-in-law, Tami and Michael Pruett, and Stacey Hill; son Josh Hill, all of Calgary; grandchildren, Robert, Zachary, Johnny, Samantha, Scott, Jaegar, Lauralee (Joe), John, A.J., and Ethan; and numerous nieces and nephews.
