Obituary of Stuart Wendell Taylor

Stu Taylor, beloved husband of Betty of Sundre, passed away on Thursday, November 20, 2008 at the age of 67 years, after a courageous battle with cancer. Stu retired in 2006 after over forty years as a sales rep in the electrical field. He had many joys in life, first and foremost was his family. Stu was a devoted husband, a loving father and the world’s best grandpa. He was a charter member of The Baha Gun Club for twenty-five years, where he will be dearly missed. Stu is survived by his loving wife Betty; daughters, Michelle, Tracy and Sheri; grandchildren, Matthew, RaeAnne, Ashleigh, Brett, Wade, and Kendra; twin brother Stan; brother Merv (Wilda); sisters, Doris and Ruth; and sister-in-law Sandy. Stu is also survived by Betty’s family, mom Winnie; brother Bill (Charlotte); sisters, Doreen (Rex), Gladys (Jim), Pauline (Gilbert), and Daphne (Jim); as well as numerous nieces and nephews and many dear friends. Stu was predeceased by his parents Hector and Stella; brother Nelson; brothers-in-law, John and Don; nephew Tim; and father-in-law Calvin. To know him was to love him. A Memorial Service will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S, Crowfoot Chapel (82 Crowfoot Circle N.W.) on Monday, November 24, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
