Obituary of Jadwiga Bulat

Jadwiga Bulat of Calgary, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 15, 2008, surrounded by her family and friends at the Rockyview General Hospital, at the age of 66 years. Jadwiga was born in Poland. After her husband, Stanislaw Bulat passed away in 1970, she courageously raised their three children by herself. Her entire life was dedicated to her family. She was a devoted mother, daughter, sister and friend. She loved nature, outdoors, hiking, gardening, needlework, cooking, music and reading. Jadwiga is survived by, and will be greatly missed by her daughters and sons-in-law, Kate and Jack Kasinski, Elzbieta and Stanislaw Misztal; son Marek and Renata Bulat; grandchildren, Martin Kasinski, Michal and Mateusz Misztal, Magdalena and Justyna Bulat; brother Ludwik; sister Anna; as well as numerous family members and friends in Poland and Calgary. She was predeceased by her husband Stanislaw Bulat. Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers and Tributes at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W.) on Friday, November 21, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be Celebrated at Our Lady Queen of Peace (Polish) Catholic Church (2111 UxBridge Drive N.W.) on Saturday, November 22, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com. It was Jadwiga’s wish for her remains to be returned to Poland to be reunited with her husband.
