Billy Jacobs was born on May 16, 1951 at Chisttim Springs, Bragg Creek, AB and went on his journey into Nata’s arms on Saturday, November 15, 2008. Billy was a proud descendant from the Six Nations Cuyuga (Turtle clan). Billy was raised and resided in Bragg Creek, AB. Billy was a man of many attributes. His love for life was shown in everything he did and he touched many hearts and souls. Billy was an avid hunter, trapper, fisherman, journeyman, welder, carpenter, driller, and friend. Billy leaves to mourn his beautiful and loving wife of forty-five years Vicky; his special and cherished children, Clayton (Gwen), Brenda (Lee), Joe (Celeste), Sara, Lacey (Moira), and William; grandchildren, Jonnybeth, Angie, Norman, Zoe, Trent, Bridgette, Drew, Breeze, Echo, Summer, River, Dennis, Reese, Aurora, Larenz, Paul, Monroe, Silvia, Jacob; and a great-grandson Layton James. He is also survived by his siblings, Jackson, Carly, Harry, Hardy, Guyosoodoo (Lois), Poncho (Pauline), Cheryl (Herbie), Judy (Ken), and Brenda Jacobs; and sisters-in-law, Cecilia and Tina Jacobs. Billy was predeceased by his parents David and Margaret Jacobs; his maternal grandparents Joe and Annie Catface; brothers, Nelson, Lawrence, Brian Jacobs, and Rodger Catface; Sister Arlene Jacobs; niece Monroe and nephew Ty and in-laws Stanley and Louise Big Plume. Wake Services were held at the residence of Vicky Jacobs (Tsuu T’ina Nation, AB) on Monday, November 17, 2008. Funeral Services will be held at the residence of Vicky Jacobs (Tsuu T’ina Nation, AB) today, November 18, 2008 in the morning.
