Obituary of Dieter Guthoerl

Dieter Guthoerl passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Monday, November 10, 2008 at the age of 58 years. Dieter was well-known for his work in concrete masonry (Neath Construction) both in Alberta and Ontario. He enjoyed his children, cars, Tim Horton’s coffee, and his work. Dieter’s positive attitude and dignity throughout the last days of his life was respected and admired by his partner, Debbie Bird and his children. Dieter is lovingly remembered by his son, David (Amanda) Bird-Guthoerl; daughter, Sarah Bird-Guthoerl; grandson Ethan; mother, Helga Brenning, mother and father-in-law, Betty and Charles Bird, Inge and Kurt Hoermann (Sonja and Michael), Horst Guthoerl, Linda and Lorne Evans (Zachary and Whitney), all of Ontario, as well as Pat and Gary Briggs of Alberta.
