Obituary of William Nicholas Mitchell
W.N. (Bill) Mitchell of Calgary, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 11, 2008 at the age of 83 years.
Bill enjoyed thirty-five years of employment with Imperial Oil, working across all the prairie provinces. The passions in his life included spending time with his wife, camping, big band music, jazz music, and spoiling his grandsons and granddogs.
Bill is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Randy and Janet Mitchell; Rick and Esther Mitchell; two grandsons, Wilson and Tyson; and two granddogs, Kay-De and Chaos; and by his sister, Catherine Lane, all of Calgary. Bill was predeceased by his loving wife of fifty years, Eleanor; and by his brother Carson Mitchell.
An Open House will be held to celebrate Bill’s life with memories and stories on Saturday, November 15, 2008 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. at 123 Lake Wapta Rise SE, Calgary.
