Obituary of Frances Evelyn Fraser

Frances Evelyn Fraser of Calgary passed away quietly, after a short illness, on Friday, November 7, 2008 at the age of 89 years. Teddy was born in Armstrong, BC and raised in Calgary. She and her husband and children were transferred to Montreal in the early 50’s where she and Ted became dedicated members of the Gyro International, a Fraternity of Friendship. They continued their membership when transferred to Toronto and then in retirement back in Calgary. Teddy will be remembered for her dedication to family, her quick smile, and her feistiness right to the end. Teddy will be lovingly remembered by her son Ted Fraser; daughter Cheryl Lorent; and her three grandchildren, Christopher Fraser, Pamela Fraser and John Lorent. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Teddy had a special place in her heart for nephew Rick (Marni) Mastel and for her best friend Shirley Glasgow. She was predeceased by her husband Ted; son Greg (Diana); brother Dick Mastel; and sister Dorothy (Bill) Marshall. A Private Family Graveside Service will be held at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
