Obituary of Adam Almasch
Adam Almasch beloved husband of Rosa of Calgary passed away on October 26, 2008 at the age of 80 years.
Adam grew up in Yugoslavia, met and married Rosa in Austria on October 14, 1950. In 1953 they came to Canada and Adam worked as a caretaker for the Calgary Catholic School Board for many years, he retired in 1993. Adam loved to go fishing and camping with his family, especially with was his grandchildren of whom he was very proud. He was a devoted Catholic and had great faith in God. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, Otta and friend.
Adam is survived by his wife of fifty-eight years, Rosa; daughter, Monica (Guy) Mooney; grandchildren, Heather and Matthew; brothers, John (Anna) Almasch and Peter Almasch; special niece, Katharina Michels and as well as many other nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son, Adam M. Almasch and sister-in-law, Theresa.
Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers and Tributes at St. Boniface German Catholic Church (1923 Broadview Road N.W.) on Thursday, October 30, 2008 at 7:00 p.m.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Boniface German Catholic Church (1923 Broadview Road N.W.) on Friday, October 31, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
