Obituary of John Robert Willson

Bob Willson beloved husband of Ruth of Calgary passed away on Friday, October 24, 2008 at the age of 75 years after a short, but brave battle against cancer. Bob had an amazing career with Nova and Polysar. As a result, the family lived in Alberta, Ontario, and Switzerland. Calgary became home when Bob and Ruth retired. Strong family bonds caused them to take many road trips. They would go East to visit their eldest daughter Margaret and her sons, Alec and Stuart; North to visit their son David, his wife Janet, and their children, Stephanie and Michelle; and West to visit their youngest Elizabeth and her husband Gerard. Bob loved going to the opera, playing Bridge, and cycling, although his biggest passion was his family. Bob is survived by his loving wife Ruth, three children, and four grandchildren. He will be dearly missed. Until we meet again, love Ruth, Margaret, David, Elizabeth, Janet, Gerard, Stephanie, Michelle, Alec, and Stuart.
