Obituary of Kenneth Ray Gerlitz
Kenneth Ray Gerlitz of Calgary passed away suddenly at home on Friday, October 24, 2008 at the age of 83 years.
Ken was born and raised in the Bridgeland area in Calgary. He worked for Canada Post for over thirty-three years and after retiring from there, worked part time for the Calgary School Board for twelve years as a lunchroom supervisor.
Ken is survived by his sons, Dave (Shelley) and Brian; grandchildren, Michelle and Andrew, as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family members, who will all dearly miss him. Ken was predeceased by his wife Angy; his son Larry; and his brother and sisters.
Graveside Services will be held at Queen’s Park Cemetery (3219 – 4th Street N.W.) on Thursday, October 30, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
